Watering during this week

Heads up, UK gardeners! With the high temperatures heading our way this coming week, it’s time to give our green friends some extra love.
Here are two quick tips to keep your garden surviving and thriving:
Check your planters & pots: Unlike plants in the ground, potted plants have a limited source of water. Their root systems can only draw from that restricted space, so they dry out much faster. Give them a thorough soak!
In every size garden you can use a leaking hose system with a timer to ensure the soil remains adequately moist.
Water your Tree Ferns (Dicksonia antarctica) right: Remember, these beauties need to be watered from the top of the trunk! Their main root system runs down the trunk itself, so pouring water over the crown is key.

Keep calm, water your plants, and enjoy the sunshine!
