1. initial Visit
Start Your Garden Journey
Every successful landscape begins with a well-considered plan. Our initial on-site consultation is the first step towards transforming your garden.
What’s included?

During our visit, we’ll walk through your space together to explore:

Site potential – assessing layout, features, and opportunities

Budget guidance – open discussion to align the design with your investment
Concept design and 3D views
Once the survey is complete, we will prepare an initial concept design for review at a follow-up meeting.
This will include perspective visuals and a 3D on screen walkthrough, helping you fully understand how the design will sit within your space.
This stage is a key part of the process, ensuring the proposal aligns with your brief and giving you the opportunity to refine the design before moving forward.
Site Survey & Topography
Once everything is agreed, we’ll arrange and book day for a full site survey to get an accurate understanding of your garden.
We often carry this out ourselves, however for larger spaces we may bring in a professional surveyor.
The survey maps out everything we need to create the concept design—from levels and existing features to drainage, utilities, views, and sun and wind patterns—giving us a solid base to design from.
Technical Design & Documentation
Once you have approved the design proposal, we will produce a full set of technical drawings and detailed specifications to ensure the garden is built accurately and to the highest standards.
Where required, we can also prepare additional documentation such as site cross-sections, setting-out plans, specifications, and scope of works. These enable landscape contractors to provide comparable, like-for-like tenders, ensuring clarity and consistency throughout the construction and planting stages.
This level of detail is typically reserved for larger or more complex projects.

Planting Design & Sourcing
Once the final layout is agreed, we develop a detailed planting scheme tailored to your garden.
This considers soil conditions, aspect, and microclimate, along with your personal preferences for colour, texture, and specific plants. We can also assist with the sourcing of high-quality plants to ensure the scheme is delivered as intended.
Maintenance Schedule:
A tailored maintenance schedule can be provided as part of our aftercare service, giving you clear guidance on how to care for your plants and ensure your garden continues to thrive.

Contractor Supervision
Contractor Supervision
Once the design is approved and a contractor appointed, we can oversee the implementation of the project.
This service is particularly beneficial for more complex schemes or for clients who would like support managing the build, ensuring the design is delivered as intended.
