Green Point Garden Design FAQ general questions:
Very often on initial meeting this question is asked how much the garden will cost. Based on our extensive experience, I can say that this is quite challenging, as a portion of the budget will be allocated to the design phase, which involves conducting a thorough survey, creating a concept, and finalizing all plans with necessary adjustments. Additionally, it is essential to find a landscaper who can execute the garden construction within the budget, including VAT etc. However..... Since every garden is unique, your space might be a small urban area where you, your family, and friends possess the skills and knowledge to create your ideal garden, which could also serve as a valuable life experience. Ultimately, the outcome depends on the material costs you choose, as labour expenses typically represent the highest portion of the overall project costs.
Absolutely, surveying your garden is crucial. And the second part of the question- no, is not advisable. If you hire a professional garden designer like GPGD, we will need to measure the entire area and assess the levels of the garden, as it should serve as an extension of the house. After the survey is completed, all the information is input into our software and the entire design process can start. The whole project will be to scale, and the garden walk that I will create will effectively demonstrate the balance of design elements. You will literally be able to visualize in 3D how the garden will appear before construction begins. so the answer is yes- accurate simple survey for design process is crucial.
